Wire Closet Organizer

Cleaning and organizing your closet is perhaps the one job all of us run from for as long as we can. It is something that has to be done and it has to be done often. The closet is a great place to throw things that we really do not want but either do not want to deal with its disposal; or do we know if we want to dispose of it but can’t take the time to think about it. In either case the item ends up on a shelf in the closet or on the floor in a corner somewhere. Over the course of time we have a mountain of such items and there is clutter everywhere in the closet. Time to organize and that time is now.

To begin with you will have to remove everything from the closet including the clutter that started the whole need for closet organization. Have a couple of large boxes; one to act as a container for things to donate, and the other to act as a disposal container for items to be thrown in the trash. Start with the things you did not want to deal with earlier. The three divisions should be things to keep, thing to donate and things to throw away and start dividing the clutter. When you have taken care of these items go on to your clothes and to the same thing there. This category includes shoes, handbags and other wearing apparel as well as dresses, coats, pants, etc.

Now your closet should be completely empty and you can paint or wallpaper the walls, clean the floors and decide how you want to organize your closet. The old shelving has been removed in order to paint or wallpaper and you can consider new organizers.

Wire organizers should be your choice. They are easy to install and do not need any carpenter’s tools to do the work. They cost less than wood organizers and look lighter and airier than wood organizers. They give your closet the look of having more room because they are not as bulky as wood. In addition, because they are wire and are not solid they give the items laid on them or hung on them the opportunity to breathe and stay fresh. There is a wire organizer to accommodate everything you have in your closet.

You should have measured your closet and the areas that you want certain things to hang and using those measurements buy your wire organizers accordingly. When you have all of the wire organizer you want install them in your closet and marvel at how much room you really have in that closet. Now return the clothes that are being kept by you, to the closet and enjoy your new closet. A closet that is neatly organized and easy to find things in.

When you have finished with the organization then take the box of items to be donated to a charitable resale shop and remove the last box of unwanted and nonuse able items to the nearest trash bin. This last box should not be looked into for fear of salvaging something that will end up in your beautiful newly organized closet.
